My mother, Halima Bulhan, is a beacon of resilience and strength. She has not only preserved our family's history but also illuminated the rich cultural narratives of the Somali people. Her unwavering commitment to teaching her children about our culture has been a profound source of inspiration, teaching me that true perseverance transcends personal challenges and connects generations through the power of words and memory.
